Corp description updated 11.11.2015
Astral PlanetsAstral Planets is a corp created by
Astecus aiming to convert every POCO (player owned customs office) in Highsec to zero tax, as well as provide easy access to Highsec PvP similar to RvB.
We provide:
- Zero tax on all our POCOs for everybody in New Eden.
- A simple way of joining wars.
- A strategic goal that might give our soldiers an increased sense of purpose.
ApplicationsTo lower the workload and waiting time involved, corp applications will by default be accepted instantly. This means that hostiles can join easily, but the potential damage they can do should be limited due to friendly fire being off. Keeping this in mind is still highly recommended though.
While there are no application requirements, corp members are still required to obey the following rules:
-
Stay respectful in all communication channels.
- Placing bounties is not allowed.
- Scamming, stealing, blackmail and extortion is not allowed.
- Piracy is not allowed (attacking targets clearly not looking for a fight).
- Suicide ganking is only allowed against other regular suicide gankers as a method to counter them.
- Having mining permits or other
CODE-supporting stuff in the bio is not allowed.
Any violation of these rules without any reparations made can result in the corp member getting banned. Anyone witnessing a corp member violating these rules are encouraged to contact Astecus about it. Some rules might only be enforced while the character is currently inside the corp, others might not.
DonationsThe corp is based on donations and is in a way a social experiment to see if this can work. I believe it can if done right. Donations will be spent on ship replacement programs, rewarding diligent individuals, wardec fees and setting up new POCOs. If you want to donate, rightclick
Astral Planets and 'Give Money' - every donation is appreciated =)
We also welcome people to donate/transfer POCOs to us, we can guarantee that you will still get zero tax from them as long as they are in our care.
Before declaring war, we will always try to contact other POCO owners offering to buy their POCOs for the same price as the wardec would cost.
Note: POCOs have a built-in NPC tax in addition to the tax set by players owning it (you will only see the combined tax). The NPC tax can only be lowered by training
Customs Code Expertise.
