Starting off as an operative within Gallente space in the fields of military contracting, mining and industry, Scandinavian Minerals grew to become a multi-billion corporation expanding across all parts of empire space. Due to a sudden change in management, recruitment was stopped, most offices were closed and a major part of the members were expelled. Since then the corporation agenda is unknown. Only a selected few has been informed of the future of the corporation.
