The Weyland Industries Corporation is a multifaceted corporation orginally based in the Caldari League, but then transferring its flag to Minmatar and then finally to Gallente in 2289 to minimize its exposure to taxation and regulation.
Weyland Ingustries is one of the corporations in the ICC (Interstellar Commerce Commission) that runs the human colonies outside the New EVE Universe through the ECA (Expatriate Colonization Administration), has a seat in the Company Review Board, and also has a large presence in EVE Universe.
